Marshall Breeding reports from the ALA Techsource blog that LibraryThing has created LibraryAnywhere, a mobile application which "provides an inexpensive solution for libraries to engage their users with mobile devices." This is a mobile (small screen) version of a given library's catalog, with access to electronic resources and individual patron records with validated access. Read more here:
